Blue Chef IBM Research

IBM has shown that computers can beat the world's best chess and quiz show players. But can computers be creative? In the Blue Chef application, a computationally creative computer automatically designs and discovers culinary recipes that are both flavorful and novel, identifying the best candidate recipes out of quintillions of possibilities. I am working on new ways to visualize the huge amounts of Big Data that power the Blue Chef system, helping people to understand how the software works.
